What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health that seeks to address the root cause of illness rather than just managing symptoms. It combines modern scientific research with traditional healing methods to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. By understanding the complex connections between the physical body, mind, emotions, and energy systems, naturopathy provides a truly integrative approach to long-term wellness. Based on the naturopathic principles and therapeutic order, naturopathy utilises lifestyle, diet, supplementation and herbal medicine to restore the body to optimal health.

What is Herbal Medicine?
Herbal medicine is one of the oldest and most powerful forms of healing, using plants to support and restore health. Unlike pharmaceutical drugs, which often isolate a single active ingredient, herbs work synergistically, containing a variety of beneficial compounds that enhance their effects and reduce side effects. Certain pharmaceuticals have also been derived from herbal medicines. For example, Aspirin is derived from the active compound Salicin in Willow Bark (Salix Alba).
Herbal medicine involves utilising various parts of plants (roots, seeds, berries, flowers, leaves, bark) to prepare therapeutic prescriptions such as teas, tinctures, capsules, extracts, powders and topical applications.
